Seafarer Seminar held to mark National Maritime Day Celebrations 2025

MUMBAI : The Seafarer Seminar, held as part of the National Maritime Day Celebrations (NMDC) 2025, successfully took place on 1st April 2025 at the SCI Auditorium, Nariman Point, Mumbai. The seminar focused on the theme: “Sustainable Shipping – Youth for Maritime Development.”

The event, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and young maritime professionals to discuss the future of sustainable shipping and the vital role of youth in maritime development.

The Distinguished Guests including Shri Shyam Jagannathan, IAS – Director General of Shipping, Capt. B.K. Tyagi – Chairman & Managing Director, Shipping Corporation of India and Special Invitee Capt. D.C. Sekhar – Managing Director, AlphaMERS Ltd have attended the Seminar.
