MOSCOW : The war in Ukraine shocked not only the world community, but also many millions of Russians.

Russian Maritime Law Association and its members are against the war and for the peace between Ukraine and Russia. They call for immediate termination of all military actions!

On 24 February 2022, Vladimir Putin announced his decision to carry out the so-called “special military operation” in Ukraine. Russian Maritime Law Association (RUMLA) opposes all military actions, said President of Russian Maritime Law Association, Mr. Konstantin Krasnokutskiy in a statement.

“We believe that there is no legal or political justification that would allow troops to enter the territory of another state. Any military actions result in the loss of lives. We cannot and will not support or justify human suffering. The decision to launch the military actions is contrary to the interests of both Russia and Ukraine, and humanity. The negative consequences will be borne for many years to come” Mr. Krasnokutskiy added.

Mr. Konstantin Krasnokutskiy further emphasised “We call to stop the war in Ukraine and a return to reason and legal mechanisms to resolve the conflict. We express our condolences to all those who are now going through suffering and loss, pain and sorrow as a result of the war”.
