
UP Govt discusses policy for promoting export services’ soon

LUCKNOW :, The Uttar Pradesh Government organised a policy discussion on promoting export services opening a new avenue for investment.
The Government of India has identified 12 niche areas for services export, of which UP has earmarked five. These include IT and IT enabled services, logistics, education, medical and wellness tourism.
Minister for industries and infrastructure development Shri Nand Gopal Nandi said that the state government is open to working in every area that brings investment in the state and creates employment for its people. A policy for promoting services from the state will be brought soon.
ACS (MSME and export promotion), Navneet Sehgal said that the state has already created a robust policy framework to facilitate investors and connect talent from the state to the world of opportunities.
