RCL Feeder Service to Port Klang commences from Haldia

KOLKATA / SINGAPORE: Regional Container Lines commenced their service from Haldia to Port Klang.

M.V. Nawata Bhum made her maiden call to Haldia International Container Terminal (HICT), Haldia Dock Complex, SMP Kolkata. The vessel berthed at 1810 hrs on 1st December 2020. She loaded 211 Laden TEUs in 6 hrs and then set her sail for Port Klang, Malaysia at 0505 hrs on 2nd December 2020.

Shri A.K. Mehera, Dy. Chairman HDC, Shri. A.K. Mahapatra, GM Traffic HDC, Mr. K. Pandurangan, Branch Manager, Chakiat Shipping and Capt. Sudeep Banerjee, Terminal Head HICT along with other Port officials were present at the inaugural ceremony.

Addition of this new service to Port Klang from Haldia opened up more feeder space for importers and exporters.
