DPA Kandla organised cultural programme on occasion of ’54th CISF Raising Day’

GANDHIDHAM : On the occasion of glorious 54th CISF Raising Day, under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Grand events were organised by the Sanrakshika DPA Kandla such as “Cultural Night” followed by “Grand Badakhana” on 11th March 2023 at Dr. Ambedkar Convention Centre, DPA Gandhidham.

Shri. S. K. Mehta, IFS, Chairman DPA, Kandla blessed the occasion as Chief Guest. Shri P. Anand Kumar, IRS, Commissioner, CGST; Shri Kuriance Ranju, Brigadier, 98Hqrs Artillery Brigade; Shri Anant Singh, DIG, Sector Hqrs, Bhuj, Shri T. V. Ravi, IRS , Commissioner Customs Kandla & Mundra, Shri Sanjay Avinash Commandant, 74 Bn BSF Gandhidham, Shri Nandeesh Shukla, IRTS, Dy. Chairman DPA Kandla, Portuser association head were “Guest of Honour” amongst officers of all Govt organizations and Int Agencies.

A short CISF movie on “Bharat ke Sanvedansheel Sansadhano ke Sanrakshak” was showcased to all audiance having more than 650 strength to sensetize them the overall functioning of CISF. With great zeal and enthusiasm the Wards and Lady wives of CISF personnel have performed group dance, solo dance, skid and other good programmes, which was very much liked by the audience. After the completion of Cultural Program all the participants were presented mementos and certificates by Chief Guest. All the “Guest of Honour” were also felicitated with mementos by Commandant. After the cultural program grand Badakhana was organised for all Guests , CISF personnel and their families.

On Raising Day Parade which was conducted in CISF Unit lines in which Shri Nandeesh Shukla, IRTS, DPA Kandla blessed occasion as the Chief Guest and attended by other senior officials of DPA management and Port users. After the Parade the Chief Guest distributed the Certificate of Best performer of the year-2023 which were signed by Shri Manoj Kumar Sharma, IPS, DIG WZ.
