Total Movements partners with ABC, successfully carried out the Heaviest Inland Water Reactor Shipment

KOLKATA : For the first time in India’s history, Total Movements along with its partner ABC, successfully carried out the Heaviest Inland Water Reactor Shipment viz. 1300 MT of reactors (2 nos.) via river, spanning an impressive 700 nautical miles from Kolkata Port to Numaligarh Jetty in Assam, according to a LinkedIn post by company’s CEO.

This groundbreaking initiative was not just a logistical triumph but a realization of late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee‘s vision of “Harnessing the potential of Indian rivers for transformative cargo transportation, propelling our nation’s progress.”

The collaborative efforts of IWAI authority, making this dream a reality. Overcoming significant challenges with a limited budget, the team utilized a unique execution Strategy to ensure the success of this historic movement.
