Maersk announces fresh PSS implementation worldwide
COPENHAGEN : Maersk will adjust the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for shipments from Oceania to several destinations worldwide from 1 July 2024.
This adjustment applies to dry containers destined for India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Mauritius, Madagascar, Reunion, Seychelles, Mozambique, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, and Djibouti.
For shipments from American Samoa, the revised surcharge will take effect from 15 July 2024.

Furthermore, to ensure uninterrupted global service amidst market disruptions, Maersk announced adjusted PSS for all dry containers shipped from Brunei, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar (Burma), Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor Leste to Australia, effective from 1 July.
