SMP Kolkata invites solar project
KOLKATA : The Kolkata Port Trust has announced an invitation for bids for a 2 MW solar power project at the Haldia Dock Complex. This initiative, estimated to cost around Rs.168 million (~$2.01 million), encompasses the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar power project.
Bidders are required to submit their proposals by July 30, 2024, and must include a non-refundable bid document fee of Rs.2,950 and an earnest money deposit of Rs.2.6 million. The project is expected to be completed within 14 months from the date of the award, followed by a defect liability period and comprehensive operation and maintenance for 120 months.
Eligible bidders should have an annual financial turnover of at least 50.4 million and must demonstrate experience in executing similar projects, particularly ground-mounted solar power projects, within the last seven years. The winning bidder will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including engineering, procurement, construction, and ensuring the system’s efficient operation.
