IMC Logistics and Transportation Committee first meeting held in Mumbai

MUMBAI : First meeting of IMC’s Logistics and Transportation Committee held in Mumbai on Wednesday, October 23rd.

Brief discussions held at the meeting were

1. Representations to be made for the challenges faced by the industry
2. New Projects : Navi Mumbai Airport and Vadhavan port – ask them to give representation to the committee and site visit to show the facilities for logistics
3. Attending Customs monthly meetings to put forth the industry concerns
4. Research/ Study papers – topics to be decided
5. Webinars – on monthly basis, based on industry happenings/ eminent speakers from the industry
6. Sustainability.
