BonV Aero wins at Drone Hackathon during the Amaravati Drone Summit

AMRAVATI : All India– BonV Aero has been recognized as a winner at one of India’s largest Drone Hackathons, held alongside the Amaravati Drone Summit on October 22. The event attracted more than 500 participants, each presenting solutions to challenges in drone technology.

The hackathon, organized by the Andhra Pradesh Drones Corporation, encouraged the development of drone-based applications across various themes. BonV Aero secured its position as a leading team by focusing on delivering critical goods to remote and hilly regions where conventional transport is inefficient. Recently, BonV Aero created a world record for high altitude drone flight at 19,024 feet at Umling La Pass The key supplier of heavy-lift UAVs to the Indian Army, completed a hover flight test at 19,024 feet, carrying a 30kg payload, setting a world record .

Satyabrata Satapathy, CEO & Co-Founder, BonV Aero said, “Our mission is to develop drone-based solutions for delivering critical goods to remote or hilly regions where conventional transport is inefficient. On this occasion Chief Minister Shri N Chandrababu Naidu and Civil Aviation Minister Shri K Ram Mohan Naidu have delivered keynote addresses at the summit, emphasizing Andhra Pradesh’s goal to lead in drone innovation. The summit also featured a drone show with 5,500 drones, showcasing the capabilities of drone technology.

“As Andhra Pradesh positions itself as a hub for drone technology, events like the Amaravati Drone Summit and Hackathon play a crucial role in fostering innovation and collaboration in the industry, said, Naidu and asked the drone manufacturers to use Andhra Pradesh as a testing ground for “use cases” and “proofs of concept” and asked them to give the use cases for testing them.” BonV Aero’s achievements highlight its commitment to advancing drone solutions in logistics.The summit also featured a drone show with 5,500 drones, showcasing the capabilities of drone technology.
