ADC joins MED Ports Association to boost Regional Maritime Collaboration

AQABA : The Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC), the primary landlord of Aqaba’s seaports, has joined the MED Ports Association, a prestigious network of 31 leading port stakeholders across the Mediterranean. This strategic partnership aims to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and promote sustainable growth in the regional maritime sector.

By becoming a member of the MED Ports Association, ADC aligns itself with a collective vision to strengthen the role of Mediterranean ports in the global logistics and shipping industries. Abdessalam Obeidat, Chief Transport and Logistics Officer at ADC, affirmed the corporation’s commitment to leveraging this partnership to bring added value to Aqaba’s port community. He emphasized that this collaboration will enhance Aqaba’s position as a key maritime hub while advancing shared goals with other Mediterranean stakeholders.

The MED Ports Association, recognized as the largest network for maritime and port stakeholders in the region, welcomed both ADC and Libya’s Misurata Port & Free Zone as its newest members.
