DP World Mundra achieves highest-ever 1.42M TEUs throughput in 2024

MUNDRA : DP World Mundra has reached its highest-ever annual throughput of 1.42 million TEUs in 2024, marking an 11 per cent growth over the previous year. This achievement strengthens its role in Gujarat’s economy and India’s global trade network, driven by top-tier efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Strengthening global connectivity

In January 2024 alone, DP World Mundra recorded 138,000 TEUs and handled 75 vessels, enhancing direct trade links to key markets across Asia, Africa, and the Mediterranean. Its commitment to superior service ensures seamless global trade operations.

Advancing sustainability and infrastructure

With a 632-metre quay, deep-draft capacity, and dedicated rail connectivity, DP World Mundra ensures smooth cargo movement. The company is also prioritising sustainability by electrifying its fleet, reducing diesel consumption, and cutting carbon emissions.

DP World Mundra boasts a 632-meter quay and deep draft capable of accommodating large vessels. It features a 50-acre Container Freight Station and is supported by dedicated rail connectivity within the terminal, ensuring seamless movement of cargo. With round-the-clock operations, DP World Mundra maintains the highest standards of security and efficiency in handling global trade flows.

DP World remains focused on reducing its environmental footprint and promoting sustainable trade practices. As part of this effort, the company has electrified its fleet of forklifts and light motor vehicles, a move expected to significantly lower diesel consumption and reduce tons of carbon emissions every year.
