Allcargo Gati records 8% volume growth in July 2024, driven by festive preparations

MUMBAI : Allcargo Gati Limited, a prominent player in the logistics and express delivery industry, has released its operational update for July 2024, revealing an 8% month-on-month increase in total volume. 

The company’s combined surface and air express volume reached 108,000 tonnes in July, marking an uptick from June 2024. This growth is attributed to early preparations for the upcoming festive season, which typically drives higher demand for logistics services.

Despite the positive momentum, the total volume for July 2024 reflects a marginal 3% decline compared to July 2023. This year-on-year decrease is seen as a minor setback, with company officials remaining optimistic about the months ahead. 

The management anticipates continued growth as the festive season approaches, expecting this upward trend to persist.
