APM Terminals Pipavav, ONGC sign 5-Year Pact for Offshore Logistics Hub

AHMEDABAD: APM Terminals Pipavav, has signed a five-year strategic partnership with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to set up an offshore oil and gas logistics base at Pipavav Port. The facility will serve as a key supply hub for ONGC’s offshore fields in the Tapti and Kutch basins, offering marine support, storage and specialized infrastructure.

The agreement, effective from 1 October 2025, designates APM Terminals Pipavav as ONGC’s strategic supply base partner, providing safe and reliable services to strengthen India’s offshore energy operations. The port operator said the project underscores the country’s drive to bolster energy security while broadening Pipavav’s role beyond traditional cargo handling.
