APM Terminals Pipavav strengthens its footprints in North India by opening new office in Ludhiana

PIPAVAV : APM Terminals Pipavav announced opening of new office in Ludhiana, Punjab. With this new setup, Pipavav Port further strengthen its market presence in North India. Ludhiana office would cover large base of ICDs [Inland Container Depot] in Punjab and caters to the wide geographies of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. Through this office, cargo owners from northern hinterland will have easy access to the port for import/export of cargoes to and from East Asia, Europe and Americas. APM Terminals Pipavav’s Ludhiana office would facilitate local companies to have access to global markets, thus enhancing their exposure to a wider audience. Pipavav team would be able to have better connect with trade partners to facilitate faster connectivity and offer cost efficient and reliable solutions for EXIM cargo movement.  
Office Premises was inaugurated by Mr. Amit Bhardwaj, CCO, APM Terminals Pipavav in presence of representatives from Northern India Steamer Agents Association Ludhiana (NISAA), ICD operators of Ludhiana (Gateway Distriparks Ltd., CONCOR, Pristine Logistics, Hind Terminals Pvt. Ltd., Adani Logistics Ltd.), prominent Freight Forwarders, Exporters/Importers and Commercial Team of APM Terminals Pipavav.
Ludhiana has the distinction of having a large base for import of scrap, steel, wastepaper and an equally large base for export of rice and yarn amongst other commodities. Ludhiana’s strategic location and robust infrastructure makes it an ideal choice for us to better serve our customers, provide two-way access to products and markets, and thereby contribute to the economic development of the region and India at large.
