Bahri named Shipping Company of the Year for outstanding performance during the pandemic
Strengthening its unchallenged status in the maritime industry, Bahri, a global leader in logistics and transportation, was honoured with the ‘Shipping Company of the Year’ award at the Seatrade Maritime Awards Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa (MEISA) 2020, which was held virtually on December 14, 2020, to honour outstanding performances in the maritime industry.
Bahri’s award is in recognition of the company’s outstanding performance during the Covid-19 pandemic and its commitment to delivering quality-driven services and strategies to achieve sustained revenue growth during challenging times. The company recorded a remarkable increase of 302 per cent in net profit for the first nine months of 2020 to reach SAR 1.49 billion, and an increase of 114 per cent in net profit during the third quarter, reaching SAR 314 million, highlighted a release.
