CMA CGM applies new PSS from Europe to India, Middle East Gulf and Red Sea
MARSEILLE : French ocean carrier CMA CGM announced that it will implement the following peak season surcharges, effective from 1 March.
For dry cargo from North Europe, Scandinavia, Poland, Baltic, East & West Mediterranean, Adriatic, Black Sea and North Africa to the Indian ports of Nhava Sheva, Mundra and Hazira, the surcharge will be US$200 per container.
Additionally, the Marseille-based box line will apply a PSS of US$200 per dry container from North Europe, Scandinavia, Poland and Baltic to the Middle East Gulf, Djibouti and Yemen.
Furthermore, the company said that a new peak season surcharge of US$300 per dry box will be introduced from East & West Mediterranean, Adriatic, Black Sea and North Africa to the Middle East Gulf, Djibouti and Yemen.
