CMA TERMINALS KHALIFA PORT stands as a successful greenfield project, delivered with precision and excellence in just 2.5 years – a remarkable achievement made possible through strong partnerships.
In less than a year of operations, CMA TERMINALS KHALIFA PORT has already delivered outstanding milestones that underline its world-class capabilities:
- 1 million TEUs of throughput achieved in just 10 months
- Launch of new terminal services, including fresh water supply for vessels
- Net Zero Building Project – the region’s first net-zero carbon terminal building
- Deployment of electric e-RTG cranes, reducing emissions and energy usage
- Shore Power (Cold Ironing) – enabling vessels to switch off diesel engines at berth, eliminating emissions while docked
- Efficient handling of breakbulk cargo
