NAYA RAIPUR : In a significant boost to India’s mineral export logistics, the Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has commenced Copper Concentrate exports to China from its state-of-the-art Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) in Naya Raipur.

On 11 November 2025, the inaugural rake—comprising 90 TEUs—was efficiently loaded and dispatched to Visakhapatnam Port (VZP). The consignment forms part of a larger 12,000-metric-ton export movement being executed by Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), one of India’s leading copper producers. Freight forwarders BOXCO and CJ DARCL are providing seamless logistics coordination, while ONE Line is facilitating the international shipping connection to China.

This milestone reflects the growing strategic role of CONCOR’s multimodal network in supporting India’s outbound cargo flows. The commencement of Copper Concentrate exports from MMLP Naya Raipur underscores the facility’s capability to manage heavy, bulk mineral cargo while ensuring faster turnaround, improved handling efficiency, and smooth port connectivity.

CONCOR highlighted that the successful execution of this operation showcases the company’s continued focus on enabling reliable, integrated, and cost-effective logistics solutions for Indian exporters. The initiative further strengthens the collaborative framework between CONCOR, HCL, and logistics partners in enhancing India’s presence in global commodity markets.

CONCOR also extended gratitude to Customs authorities and all allied agencies whose support and timely clearances played a crucial role in enabling the swift launch of this export movement.

This development marks a new chapter in the region’s export ecosystem and reinforces MMLP Naya Raipur’s status as an emerging logistics hub for international trade.
