CONCOR strengthens Trade Facilitation at MMLP Naya Raipur, Engages Stakeholders to boost Logistics efficiency

CHENNAI: Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) organized an insightful stakeholder engagement session at its Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) in Naya Raipur, aiming to unlock the region’s logistics potential and enhance trade facilitation for exporters and importers.

The interactive session brought together members of the Chhattisgarh Rice Export Association, leading exporters, importers, customs house agents (CHAs), and logistics service providers. The discussions were led by Ms. G. Gayatri, IRTS, Area Head – Area III, and Ms. Anita Barik, IRTS, Cluster Head – Hyderabad, focusing on strategies to streamline cargo movement and strengthen supply chain efficiency through MMLP Naya Raipur.

Key challenges such as empty container availability and inland haulage costs were addressed, with CONCOR assuring its full support to ensure smooth and seamless export-import operations. Participants were also briefed on CONCOR’s latest logistics initiatives and encouraged to leverage its advanced container shipping solutions to enhance global market access.

As part of its broader trade facilitation efforts, CONCOR also collaborated with senior government and railway officials, including Smt. Reena Kangale, IAS (Secretary – Food, Govt. of Chhattisgarh), Smt. Kiran Kaushal, IAS (MD, CG Markfed), Shri Alok Trivedi (Executive Director, CSIDC), officials from SEC Railway, and representatives from CSIDC, highlighting a collective approach towards boosting Chhattisgarh’s logistics ecosystem.

Strategically located at the heart of the state’s supply chain network, MMLP Naya Raipur is fast emerging as a key logistics and export hub, offering integrated infrastructure and multimodal connectivity to support growing trade volumes from the region.
