CONCOR takes a giant leap in cold chain logistics with first-ever pharma reefer export to Singapore

NEW DELHI : Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), India’s market leader in multimodal logistics, has marked a significant milestone in cold chain logistics by successfully delivering its first-ever temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical consignment to Singapore.

The consignment, belonging to leading pharmaceutical major M/s Sun Pharma, was transported using CONCOR’s own 20-foot Hybrid Reefer container and shipped under the first-ever Bill of Lading issued by CONCOR, underscoring the company’s expanding capabilities in end-to-end logistics solutions.

The cargo was stuffed at Sun Pharma’s manufacturing facility in the Dewas region and maintained under stringent temperature-controlled conditions throughout the journey. Leveraging advanced data logger technology, CONCOR provided customers with real-time, end-to-end visibility of temperature, location, and humidity, ensuring complete integrity of the sensitive pharmaceutical cargo.

The shipment was successfully delivered at Singapore on December 19, 2025, demonstrating CONCOR’s readiness to handle high-value, temperature-critical cargo for international markets using its own specialized assets.

With this achievement, CONCOR has expanded its end-to-end logistics services for perishable and temperature-sensitive cargo to overseas destinations, strengthening India’s cold chain infrastructure and supporting the global reach of Indian pharmaceutical exports.
