CONCOR & TERI sign an MoU to establish the CONCOR–TERI Centre of Excellence for Green and Sustainable Logistics

NEW DELHI : Container Corporation Of India (CONCOR) & TERI sign an MoU to establish the CONCOR–TERI Centre of Excellence for Green and Sustainable Logistics! This initiative aims to promote green freight transportation, sustainable warehousing, and innovative logistics solutions. The MoU was signed at India Habitat Centre, here in the august presence of Shri Sanjay Swarup, CMD, CONCOR, Shri Ajit Kumar Panda, Director (Projects & Services),CONCOR and Dr. Vibha Dhawan, DG, TERI.

This collaboration focuses on research in sustainable rail transportation, green terminal operations, infrastructure development, and innovative warehousing & storage management solutions. During the ceremony, Shri Sanjay Swarup, CMD CONCOR, highlighted key ESG initiatives, including 95% cargo movement through Rail, deployment of 130 LNG trailers for First Mile Last Mile, Plan to use Electric Vehicle within the terminals, Construction of 130,000 Sqft net-zero warehouses at Sriperumbudur, using Solar Panels in terminals.etc
