CStar Line launches New IMB1 Service to enhance Regional Trade Links
DUBAI : CStar Line has expanded its maritime services by launching the new India – Middle East – Black Sea 1 Service (IMB1), designed to connect key ports across India, the Middle East, and the Black Sea. The inaugural sailing is scheduled to depart from Jebel Ali on April 22, 2025.
The IMB1 route will be serviced by two vessels on a weekly rotation, covering Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Jebel Ali, Jeddah, Evyap, and Novorossiysk. This service aims to strengthen trade links and provide a strategic shipping option amidst ongoing global supply chain challenges.
CStar Line has emphasized the efficiency of the new service with significant transit times, including 15 days from Evyap to Nhava Sheva, 17 days to Mundra, and 21 days to Jebel Ali. These routes offer competitive alternatives for shippers looking to navigate the complex dynamics of East-West trade.
The service’s launch reflects CStar Line’s commitment to enhancing connectivity between emerging economic regions, facilitating the growth of trade volumes between India, the Gulf, and Eastern Europe. The direct calls at Evyap and Novorossiysk are strategic moves to tap into evolving market demands, especially with the diversification of shipping routes beyond the traditional Suez Canal corridor.
With the IMB1 service, CStar Line continues to strengthen its operational presence in the Indian Ocean and Eastern Mediterranean, reinforcing its role as a dynamic carrier poised to offer strategic solutions amid shifting global trade patterns. This service underscores CStar Line’s ongoing efforts to adapt to market needs and enhance its global service network.
