CWC celebrated its 68th Foundation Day in Guwahati
GUWAHATI : The Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) celebrated its 68th Foundation Day with grandeur on Wednesday evening. A vibrant program took place at Hotel Atithi in Paltan Bazaar, commencing with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
Chief Guest Dr. Labhita Morang, Helping Hand Chairperson Dr. Babita Sinha, CWC Regional Manager Emily Sinha Brishobar, Director ICM H, B Das, and Alok Chitra Shilpi Anisha Sharma, along with senior officials and former employees, graced the occasion.
Speakers elucidated the advantages of storage and acknowledged the collaborative efforts of employees and depositors. Additionally, the accomplishments of the Central Warehousing Corporation were highlighted.
Notably, CWC is the largest public warehouse organization in India, offering logistics services, particularly in storage, to diverse customers, including the agriculture sector.
During the celebration, CWC Regional Manager Emily Sinha Brisohber provided comprehensive information on various aspects of CWC, while former employees shared their experiences.
As part of the Foundation Day festivities, various competitions were held among CWC employees, and prizes were awarded to the winners. The event also featured a cultural program, showcasing musicians who captivated the audience with songs and traditional dances of Assam.
