DCI gets Naval Channel maintenance contract
VISAKHAPATNAM : Southern Naval Command (SNC) Kochi awarded the prestigious Annual Maintenance Dredging of Naval Channel at Ernakulam to Dredging Corporation of India Limited, (DCIL) Visakhapatnam that includes annual dredging of 1.5 million cubic meters approximately at Naval Channel, Ernakulam, at an estimated cost of Rs 64 crore for the year 2022-23.
The annual maintenance project of Southern Naval Command (SNC) would also boost up DCI’s aim to achieve a record highest ever turnover of Rs.1000 crore for this financial year 2022-23.
DCI is a listed dredging company in India under the consortium of four major ports Authorities – Visakhapatnam Port, Paradip Port, Jawaharlal Nehru Port and Deendayal Port holding majority shares of 73.47%. DCI is catering to the dredging and allied services to Major Ports, Minor Ports, Indian Navy, Fishing Harbours and other maritime organizations by deepening and maintaining the safe navigational channel for EXIM activities.
