Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla inaugurates KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA

GANDHIDHAM : Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla organised an inaugural ceremony for opening of KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA at DPA Gopalpuri, Gandhidham on 3rd April. The KV-DPA will prove beneficiary to the public residing in the Port Township. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Shri S.K. Mehta, Chairman-DPA; Smt. Maltiben Maheshwari, Hon’ble MLA-Gandhidham; Shri Nandeesh Shukla-Dy. Chairman; Shri T.V. Ravi- Commissioner (Customs); Shri Arun Kumar Sharma – Sr. General Manager (IFFCO); Shri Ashish Dhania- Area Manager (Gandhidham Railway) ;Senior Officials of Port; Officials of Kendriya Vidyalaya; Employees and School Children at large.

Program was started by offering flowers to Goddess Saraswati. Dignitaries inaugurated the New Kendriya Vidyalaya – DPA by lightening lamp, ribbon cutting and Inspecting classrooms & other facilities. Saplings have also been planted by them.

School Childrens of KV-IFFCO and KV-Railway graced the occasion by their beautiful cultural performances.

While addressing the gathering, Shri S.K. Mehta, Chairman emphasised on the importance of Education and expressed that Children are world’s most valuable resources and are future of the nation. He has also appreciated DPA’s team for taking efforts & initiatives for the opening of to Kendriya Vidyalaya-DPA at Gopalpuri, Gandhidham.

Program was concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Principal, KV-DPA.
