DFCCIL invites bids for a multi-modal cargo terminal under Gati Shakti

NEW DELHI : Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) has invited bids for the construction of Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) in Uttar Pradesh.

The work involves planning, constructing, developing and operating Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) for handling cargo on common loop line no.1 towards New Khurja end of New Boraki station on DFCCIL/Railway land under Schedule-‘2’ of GCT Policy of Indian Railways. The scope includes civil works, building work, electrical works including provision of street Light, motorized isolator, and signalling and telecom works.

The construction will begin within three months from the approval of ESP, that is, grant of approval of construction, and the work is to be completed within 18 months. The value of the contract is Rs 156 crore.

The bid submission due date is 16 February, 2024.
