MUMBAI : The Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping) will mark its 75th anniversary with a high-profile commemorative conference titled “Ocean Sentinel: Maritime Safety & Security in the 21st Century” today on 11th August 2025 at Fairmont Sahar, Mumbai.
Guided by its motto “Jalasya Rakṣā, Janasya Surakṣā” (Protection of the Seas, Safety of the People), the event will bring together maritime leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to deliberate on the evolving challenges and opportunities in ensuring safe and secure seas in the modern era.
