DGFT amends name and contact details of EPC for RCMC under FTP 2023
NEW DELHI : The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has issued Public Notice No. 11/2025-DGFT dated 12th June 2025, announcing an amendment to Appendix 2T of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023. The notice updates the name and contact details of one of the authorized export promotion councils responsible for issuing Registration-Cum-Membership Certificates (RCMCs) under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023.
This update ensures better clarity and ease for exporters while applying for RCMC — a crucial compliance requirement for availing FTP benefits.
What is an RCMC and Why is it Important?
RCMC is a certificate issued by Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) or Commodity Boards that validates the exporter’s membership. It’s essential to:
Access duty exemption schemes
Avail benefits under FTP 2023
Participate in government-backed export promotion events
Avoid delays in customs clearance

The DGFT, via Trade Notice No. 09/2025-26 dated 11.06.2025, updated the names, contact numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses of designated Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) responsible for issuing RCMC under the new FTP.
