Dhamra Port sets New Benchmark with Record Steel Slab discharge in 24 Hours

BHUBANESHWAR: Dhamra Port, one of India’s fastest-growing deep-water ports operated by Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd., has once again demonstrated its operational excellence by achieving a new cargo-handling milestone.

The port successfully discharged a record 19,747 metric tonnes of steel slabs from the vessel MV HTK Neptune at Berth BB-4 within just 24 hours, surpassing the previous record of 14,700 metric tonnes handled in a similar timeframe.

This remarkable achievement underscores the port’s strong focus on operational efficiency, meticulous planning, and seamless coordination among various teams involved in the cargo handling process.
