DP World wins Prestigious LEAPS 2024 Awards for Excellence in Rail Freight Services

The award was presented by Shri Piyush Goyal, Honourable Minister of Commerce & Industry, and Shri Jitin Prasada, Honourable Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology. The Logistics Excellence, Advancement, and Performance Shield (LEAPS), spearheaded by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is an initiative that recognizes and celebrates outstanding achievements in the logistics industry. The ceremony, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, brought together top industry leaders, stakeholders, and government dignitaries. Mr. Adhendru Jain, Vice President of Rail and Inland Terminals, DP World Subcontinent, highlighted the pivotal role that multimodal logistics parks (MMLPs) play in providing efficient access to production and consumption hubs, and emphasized how private participation in MMLPs and GCTs can significantly contribute to building efficient freight corridors, on a panel discussion on “Promoting Excellence in the Logistics Sector.”
