DPA Kandla celebrates the 10th International Day of Yoga

GANDHIDHAM : Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla celebrated the 10th International Day of Yoga at the Sports Complex in Gopalpuri, Gandhidham on 21st June. The event was graced by the august presence of several distinguished dignitaries including Dr. N. Vinodkumar, IPoS, Chairman; Shri Nandeesh Shukla, IRTS, Deputy Chairman; Shri J.K. Rathod, CPES, Chief Vigilance Officer; Capt. Pradeep Mohanty, Deputy Conservator; Shri V. Raveendra Reddy, Chief Engineer; Shri B. Bhagyanath, FA & CAO; Shri Ratna Sekhar Rao, Traffic Manager; Shri Susil Chandra Nahak, Chief Mechanical Engineer; Dr. Anil Chellani, Chief Medical Officer; and Shri Y.K. Singh, Secretary I/C.

The celebration saw enthusiastic participation from senior officials, employees, stakeholders, and the community. Teachers and students from KV DPA and BVM Kandla were also present, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere. Notably, there was a significant participation of women, showcasing the inclusive spirit of the event.

In addition to the on-ground celebrations, Yoga was also practiced on-board a vessel at Kandla, highlighting the widespread enthusiasm for this global health initiative. The event underscored the importance of Yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being
