DPA Kandla creates history : Handles 40 ships in just 24 Hours, new national benchmark in port efficiency
GANDHIDHAM : Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla has achieved yet another extraordinary milestone by handling 40 ships within a span of just 24 hours, surpassing its previous record of 38 ships set in December 2023. This historic achievement marks a new era of operational excellence for India’s largest port and reaffirms DPA’s leadership in maritime efficiency and productivity.
This exceptional performance is the result of unmatched coordination, flawless marine and traffic operations and the relentless commitment of Team DPA. The operation also included the seamless handling, reflecting the port’s enhanced capability to manage complex, high-volume vessel traffic with precision.
With this achievement, DPA Kandla underlined its growing strength as a powerhouse of India’s maritime sector and a symbol of efficiency, resilience and consistent growth.
