DPA showcases port-led growth and sustainability at Vibrant Kutch Conference

GANDHIDHAM : Shri Arjunbhai Modhvadiya, Hon’ble Minister for Forest & Environment, Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat, inaugurated the theme-based pavilion of Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) at the Vibrant Kutch (District-level) Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference, held at the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Convention Centre, Gandhidham.

The inauguration took place in the esteemed presence of Shri Tikrambhai Changa, Hon’ble Minister of State for Higher & Technical Education; Shri Vinodbhai Chavda, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Kutch; and Shri Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairman, Deendayal Port Authority, along with other senior officials and distinguished dignitaries.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairman, DPA, highlighted the vast growth potential of Deendayal Port and its strategic role in driving regional and national economic development. He underlined the immense opportunities Kandla offers in logistics and multimodal connectivity, port-led industrial development, sustainability initiatives, green energy adoption, and operational excellence.

He emphasized that Deendayal Port Authority is emerging as a key growth engine for Kutch and the northern hinterland, supporting trade expansion, investment facilitation, and employment generation, while aligning with the Government’s vision of sustainable and inclusive development.

The DPA pavilion showcased the port’s infrastructure strengths, future-ready expansion plans, green initiatives, and its commitment to strengthening India’s maritime and logistics ecosystem under the Vibrant Gujarat framework.
