MORBI : G-RIDE Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal (Morbi) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Gujarat Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (G-RIDE), has entered into a strategic partnership with Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) to manage operations at the newly inaugurated GCT Rafaleshwar — a rail-linked container terminal situated near Morbi.

This collaboration aims to leverage CONCOR’s extensive PAN India logistics network to streamline containerised cargo movement from the region, particularly benefiting industries within the vibrant Morbi Ceramic Cluster. The terminal is expected to play a key role in facilitating multimodal connectivity and reducing logistics costs for exporters and importers in Gujarat.

During a recent visit to the facility, Shri Sanjay Swarup, Chairman and Managing Director of CONCOR, was warmly welcomed by the team. His visit marked a significant milestone in operational readiness and affirmed CONCOR’s commitment to expanding rail-based logistics infrastructure across the country.

With its strategic location and strong public-private collaboration, GCT Rafaleshwar is poised to emerge as a critical logistics hub in western India, supporting the government’s Gati Shakti initiative for integrated infrastructure development.
