GMB signs MoU with DPA during India Maritime Week 2025 to boost maritime cooperation
MUMBAI : In a significant step towards strengthening maritime collaboration, Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB), Government of Gujarat, executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) during India Maritime Week 2025 held in Mumbai.
The MoU underscores a shared commitment to enhancing operational efficiency, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable development across Gujarat’s maritime sector. Through this partnership, both organizations aim to leverage their strengths in port management, logistics, and infrastructure development to create an integrated and resilient maritime network.
This collaboration is expected to drive technological advancements, capacity building, and green initiatives, aligning with India’s broader vision of becoming a global maritime hub.
Speaking on the occasion, senior officials from GMB and DPA highlighted that the agreement marks a pivotal milestone in public sector synergy, reinforcing Gujarat’s leadership role in shaping India’s maritime growth trajectory.
