Hapag-Lloyd launches China-Philippines feeder service
HAMBURG : Hapag-Lloyd inaugurated its new China-Philippines Feeder service with its first ever call to the Philippines.
The vessel Tokyo Express berthed at the International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) Manila flagship operation on 17 March.
The China-Philippines Feeder (CPF) service establishes a direct link between Nansha, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore and key Philippine ports.
The service enhances trade connectivity for Philippine importers and exporters by providing a reliable link to major transhipment hubs, allowing for improved access to markets in the region.
The China-Philippines Feeder (CPF) service rotates through the ports of Nansha in China, Tanjung Pelepas in Malaysia, Singapore, Batangas, Manila, and Subic Bay in the Philippines, before sailing back to Nansha.
Aside from the Tokyo Express, Hapag-Lloyd also deployed the vessel Seoul Express to the CPF service.
