IIM Calcutta unveils case study on VOC Port’s sustainability journey
TUTICORIN : The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C) unveiled a landmark case study on VOC Port, Tuticorin, capturing the port’s exemplary strides in renewable energy adoption, green port operations, and innovation-driven sustainability initiatives.
The case study highlights VOC Port’s transformative journey toward a carbon-neutral and future-ready port ecosystem, aligning with India’s maritime vision for a greener and more sustainable blue economy.
The unveiling took place in the esteemed presence of Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Shri T.K. Ramachandran, Secretary (MoPSW), and Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, Chairman, VOC Port Authority.
