
India eyes deeper Maritime Ties as Piyush Goyal meets CEO of World’s Largest Container Shipping Line in Sweden
STOCKHOLM : Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, held a high-level meeting with Mr. Soren Toft, CEO of Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), during his two-day official visit to Sweden. The interaction focused on deepening collaboration in India’s rapidly expanding shipping, logistics, and port infrastructure sectors.
MSC, the world’s largest container shipping company, has expressed a keen interest in increasing its operational footprint in India. The discussion highlighted mutual opportunities to advance sustainable shipping solutions, aimed at enhancing global trade connectivity and supply chain innovation.
