“This year’s Women’s Day theme –  Accelerate Action deeply resonates with me. The logistics industry, just like many others has been a male-dominated arena however, I am deeply motivated and happy to see it changing.

Despite all odds and challenges, I have witnessed women breaking barriers and driving progress, right from frontline operations to leadership roles. I often say that success in this field is entirely based on capabilities, resilience, and merit, rather than on gender.

My journey in logistics has been anything but conventional. Stepping into this industry came with its fair share of challenges. Right from manoeuvring through day-to-day hurdles, proving myself in boardrooms, and at times being the only woman in the room making decisions, it has been a solid ride. With my commitment to work, I am now part of the founding member team of the ACFI Women’s Task Pillar, alongside other women in the industry who have contributed to the transformation of the logistics landscape.

I believe that we need to do more to create inclusive mindset and practical business models that consider women’s needs and encourage greater participation. The change cannot be limited to policies but must be internalized at a human level. I truly believe that when we unlock women’s full potential, we pave the way for meaningful progress across the entire industry.“
