JNPA Chairperson highlights Smart Port Vision at International Conference on Digital Supply Chains & Smart Ports 2026
PUNE : Shri Gaurav Dayal, IAS, Chairperson, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), visited the International Conference on Digital Supply Chains & Smart Ports 2026 held at Symbiosis, where he engaged with global maritime leaders, technology innovators, and policymakers on the evolving landscape of port-led development and digital trade ecosystems.


Addressing the conference, Shri Dayal shared insights from JNPA’s ongoing transformation journey, underscoring the critical role of smart port ecosystems in enhancing efficiency, resilience, and competitiveness. He highlighted JNPA’s focus on selective automation, integrated digital platforms, Port Community Systems (PCS), and sustainable energy solutions as key pillars driving operational excellence and customer-centric growth.
Emphasizing the need for a collaborative approach, Shri Dayal noted that interoperability across systems, robust cybersecurity frameworks, skilled manpower, and seamless multimodal connectivity are essential enablers for building future-ready and resilient maritime supply chains. He stressed that digitalisation must be aligned with sustainability and inclusivity to unlock long-term value for the entire logistics ecosystem.
