JNPA commemorates Republic Day with a Grand Celebration filled with Patriotism and Fervour

MUMBAI : Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), India’s leading container port, marked the Republic Day of India with an overwhelming display of patriotism. The event was a vibrant and memorable experience for attendees, with an exciting line-up of activities.
The festivities commenced with the majestic unfurling of the Indian tricolor by Shri Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS,Chairman-in-charge at JNPA,who served as the esteemed Chief Guest. Alongside, Mr.Wagh, the ceremony was also attended by various Heads of Departments, labour trustees, employees, stakeholders and their families.The port echoed with the resonating rendition of the national anthem, where all the attendees actively participated, symbolizing unity and pride.
The CISF officials added a dignified touch to the event by presenting an impressive Dog Show and Reflect Shooting demonstration, adding an element of excitement and awe to JNPA’s celebrations. The event also featured the symbolic release of bird as a gesture of freedom and peace.
Shri Unmesh Sharad Wagh addressed the audience with an insightful speech. Sharing his thoughts on the significance of the Republic Day, he said, “Republic Day holds immense significance as a day to commemorate the values that shape our great nation. It is a privilege to witness the dedication and enthusiasm of the participants and the community. Let us come together to celebrate the rich tapestry of our culture and the ideals that make India truly extraordinary.I am honored to be a part of this celebration at JNPA, where we come together to commemorate the ideals that define us as a proud and sovereign nation.”
The patriotic spirit continued with a cultural program presented by the talented students of St. Mary’s School and RKFJNP Vidyalaya, adding a touch of cultural brilliance to the commemorative occasion. The event at JNPA stood as a testament to the collective dedication and pride of the JNPort family in celebrating the nation’s Republic Day with utmost fervor and commitment to the ideals of a sovereign and prosperous India.
