JNPA records double-digit growth in cargo and container handling for October 2025

MUMBAI : Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), India’s premier container-handling port, continues its impressive growth trajectory by achieving remarkable operational performance in October 2025.
The port handled 680,226 TEUs of containers and 8.50 million tonnes of total cargo during the month — reflecting a year-on-year growth of 10.67% in container traffic and 11.54% in total cargo volume compared to October 2024.
This strong performance highlights JNPA’s sustained focus on operational excellence, digital transformation, and capacity optimization. The port’s continued investments in automation, multimodal connectivity, and green initiatives have significantly contributed to enhancing overall efficiency and competitiveness.
