Strategic Investment in Employee Experience
KSH Group highlighted a focus on overall “employee experience” as the most innovative program contributing to this award. This includes a tech-enabled Mediclaim that supports employees in routine health check-ups as well as a “yearly wellness check”. The company enhanced coordination with employees via available internal tools and maintained regular communication on policies, processes, and other systems, which significantly enhanced trust and transparency. Furthermore, the Rewards and Recognition programs were re-organized to enhance employee morale and reinforce a culture of appreciation and celebration of genuine achievements.
Over the last year, KSH Group has made significant investments in its people and infrastructure: A total of 400 training hours were delivered across verticals. New policies were implemented to increase safety for employees, along with regular awareness programs on POSH and other mandatory sessions.
Infrastructure improvements specifically for staff and external stakeholders were a key focus. These included the widening and modification of the in-gate and in-gate cabin revamp, the creation of a proper new out-gate, and the development of an induction area for drivers to induct them and verify their documents. Furthermore, the parking area was developed and improved , and new cabins were formed in the external stakeholders area. Operational efficiency was also boosted by restructuring warehouse sheds to have more accommodation and ease warehousing operations , and relocating a 100-metric-tonne weighbridge. The group also expanded KILPL Operations in the north, west, and south, and enhanced the KSH Project Management Services team with new hires.
