Kuehne+Nagel appoints Yutaka Matsuyoshi as MD for Japan
TOKYO : Kuehne+Nagel, a leading global logistics company, has appointed Yutaka Matsuyoshi as Managing Director for Japan as of August 1, 2024. His predecessor Cedric Dulong now focuses on the company´s Japan Development Program aiming to expand Japan’s role in international commerce.
With 25 years of dedicated experience in the supply chain and logistics industry, Yutaka Matsuyoshi brings a wide range of expertise to his new role. His career spans multiple regions, including Japan, the UK, Hong Kong, China, and Switzerland where he has managed various logistics transformation projects for different industries. Before joining Kuehne+Nagel, he was responsible for Global Logistics at adidas for 9 years. In 2022, Yutaka took over the role as Global Head of Operations for the international Supply Chain in Kuehne+Nagel’s Group headquarters in Switzerland. Over the past two years, he has successfully led complex order management solutions projects with a strong focus on digitisation.

In line with its Roadmap 2026, Japan is part of Kuehne+Nagel’s strategic growth markets. The Japan Development Program will focus on driving business growth among Japanese corporations, both within Japan and internationally. To strengthen its partnerships with Japanese customers, Kuehne+Nagel has appointed Mitsuhiro Inaba as Director Sales and Marketing Japan, effective August 1, and Kenzo Yamada as Director Air Logistics Japan, effective September 1. These appointments underscore Kuehne+Nagel’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Japanese market.
