Maersk launches first heavy-duty electric trucks in Vietnam

VIETNAM : Driving change, from vision to road-ready. On January 19, Maersk launched our first heavy-duty electric trucks in Vietnam at the EV Showcase event.
This milestone represents progress in introducing vehicles that are expected to contribute to lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in road transportation, supporting their aim to achieve net zero GHG emissions by 2040 in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) definition of net zero, and aligns with Vietnam’s national ambitions for decarbonisation.
