Maersk Oceania Service – Reinstatement of Charleston Replacement of Savannah with Charleston
COPENHAGEN : Maersk constantly maintaining the integrity their service offerings, and with the operational situation improving in Charleston Wando terminal despite the ongoing toe wall construction, they have taken the decision to re-instate the Charleston call on their Oceania service. Maersk will therefore replace Savannah with Charleston Wando terminal.
In addition to the above, we still believe that the operational situation in Cristobal does not support a return of the Oceania service. We will continue to monitor the situation in Cristobal and review a return of the service once operationally feasible.
