MSC announces enhancement of KIWI Service to connect Australia, New Zealand and Thailand
GENEVA : MSC announced the enhancement of its KIWI Service which will connect Australia, New Zealand and Thailand on a weekly basis.
The full rotation of the updated service will be as follows:
Laem Chabang (Thailand) – Singapore – Jakarta (Indonesia) – Brisbane (Australia) – Sydney (Australia) – Auckland (New Zealand) – Nelson (New Zealand) – Wellington (New Zealand) – Lyttelton (New Zealand) – Port Chalmers (New Zealand) – Brisbane – Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia)– Singapore – Laem Chabang
MSC Cape III will be deployed on the first sailing southbound and is expected to arrive at Laem Chabang on 28 March 2023. Additionally, MSC Alabama III will be used on the first sailing northbound and is scheduled to depart Brisbane on 18 March 2023 and arrive at Laem Chabang on 4 April.
Meanwhile, MSC said that the service will need 18 days to carry cargo from Laem Chabang to Brisbane, 21 days to Sydney and 27 days to Auckland.
