DUBAI : MYCRANE, the first global platform for online crane rental, has bolstered its fast-growing business in India with the appointment of Mumbai-based Mr. Ashishkumar Tiwari to the role of sales director, India.

Tiwari has two decades of professional experience in India, working closely with the construction industry, as well as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) clients. His career highlights include holding the post of senior manager, plant and machinery for Reliance Industries Limited, India’s largest public company.

“India is proving to be one of the most receptive markets for our vision to digitalise the construction industry and help clients work more productively, safely and sustainably,” said Andrei Geikalo, MYCRANE founder and CEO. “We are delighted to welcome Ashish to our expanding team and his contributions are already proving invaluable.”

In less than a year, MYCRANE has registered many of India’s biggest industrial companies as customers. Via the free-to-use platform, MYCRANE’s Indian clients have access to more than 300 rental providers and thousands of cranes. Recent supplier registrations include Tiong Woon, one of Asia’s largest heavy lift equipment owners.

Ashishkumar Tiwari, sales director, MYCRANE India, said: “There is strong demand for cranes across the country, much of it driven by wind energy projects. With lifting equipment in such high demand, MYCRANE has an even more important role to play in helping our clients secure the cranes they need. I look forward to contributing to the digital transformation underway in our industry.”

After completing a simple and free registration, MYCRANE users are able to quickly and easily find lifting equipment using the platform, saving time and money as they do so.

About MYCRANE

The MYCRANE platform – accessed at www.my-crane.com – simplifies the process of crane rental procurement, allowing customers to submit details of their lifting requirements in order to receive personalised quotes from a range of registered asset owners.

Customers of the platform can simply and quickly request a crawler, mobile or tower crane without having to rely on manual processes, such as calling crane rental companies or making multiple offline requests.

The digital platform, managed by MYCRANE’s head office team in Dubai, provides access to cranes for hire with a capacity of up to 750 tonnes.

Drawing on the management team’s experience in the industry, MYCRANE has been carefully designed to ensure ease of use, and that the quotes generated are directly comparable. Registration is free for both users and crane rental companies.
