Piyush Goyal addresses India-Mediterranean Business Conclave 2024

NEW DELHI : Commerce and Industry Minister, Shri Piyush Goyal has said, it is time to take the India-Mediterranean relationship to the next level. Speaking at the India-Mediterranean Business Conclave 2024 in New Delhi, he called for greater business-to-business ties between India and Mediterranean nations.

While promoting India as an attractive investment destination, he invited Mediterranean countries to collaborate across various sectors for mutual growth and prosperity.

Mr Goyal expressed gratitude for the passage that Mediterranean countries provide for global trade. He said India offers a large market for Mediterranean goods. The Union Minister pointed out that India has huge opportunities for tourism. Mr Goyal highlighted that India is expanding its ports and speed of its growth is impressive. He said India wants to offer a bright future to its youth. He added that the country’s manufacturing sector has been boosted significantly.
